Final Project

Embarking on the journey of creating our very own tabletop game was a thrilling adventure from the start. Before the design process kicked off, we immersed ourselves in a world of inspiration, exploring the vast realms of the internet and Pinterest to gather ideas that would shape the essence of our game. This initial exploration laid the foundation for what would become a collaborative and imaginative endeavor.

We gathered all the idea, references, concept, colour scheme in this miro board.

Wild Card Design:

I will only share about the process of designing trojan tower, rebound and block (which I assigned to design it).

Following the AI generated picture, I got the feeling and I try to get it in Adobe Illustrator.

Some teammates suggest that use some graphical element instead of using icon. So I decided to use shield as block means.

Rebound means attacking back to the attacker so I use a knife and blood to pretend it.

Border:

I used yellow colour from our colour scheme but reduce the brightness. The title typeface is "KNIGHT WARRIOR" font.

Reflection

At first, I worried this course would revolve around video games, a topic I find less captivating. Fortunately, it centered on tabletop games, a realm I love. The class, content, and peers created a genuinely enjoyable experience, turning what seemed daunting into an engaging journey.

The harmonious collaboration with my group brought a unique pleasure. Discussions flowed smoothly, and decisions were made effortlessly—rare in group projects. This module not only imparted valuable skills but also forged connections and memories, making learning a delightful and unexpectedly rewarding adventure.
