Experience
During the whole process of learning typography, I experienced anxiety and joy. From being afraid of comparing myself with the excellent works of my peers at the beginning, until learning from each other later. Making a great typeface requires a lot of time and effort. I learned to improve based on feedback from sir and peers, not what I thought I would improve. Because of learning and using several different apps, I have become more technical and professional in designing fonts.
Observation
The most important observation that I found in the Typography module is to keep trying. Only by constantly trying will get the best result, even if in the end it is the most satisfactory on the first try. And the next is the detail. Typography has a complicated structure, despite the fact that it appears straightforward at first glance. It takes a lot of time and effort to produce a design that appears simple.
Finding
Throughout my studies, I discovered that the knowledge that needs to be learned in typography is far more than the font and letters on the surface. I still have a lot of knowledge about learning typography that needs to be explored slowly. Behind every font design, there will be a rule or a story of its own. In addition to learning the composition of a font, the layout of the article on the screen is also very important. Such as how much white space to leave, the importance of kerning and tracking, the size of the title, the type expression, etc.
