1. Project 2A--Production shoot

Production Shooting Discussion

• Group has already been assigned by the lecturer
• Shoot the selected scene, and reference video and the scene is given
• Shoot in groups and edit individually

I was assigned to be the location sound, which is in charge of the sound recording work.

I followed the trailer provided by sir to edit the clips.

After combining every clip, I started to do the colour correction to ensure the tone is similar to the original trailer.

After that, I add a caption for that conversation.

I found the original soundtrack in the trailer called Subtitle. The trailer provided by Sir doesn't have the character sound, only the background music, but I still added the character audio into the video.

     2. Project 2B--TikTok Video

Understanding of TikTok: 

TikTok is an international social media app for users to share short video clips. It is created by a Chinese. In TikTok, users can get different kinds of information, such as entertainment, learning knowledge, life hack and etc. In addition, TikTok can also do business, merchant can promote their product or service through the platform. Through the promotion of TikTok, users can let more people know themselves and see their strengths or advantages, so as to make their lives better and richer. Self-media creators can receive advertisements and earn income based on the view, followers and likes of the short video.

We were required to film a TikTok video on the topic "Me in campus".

I filmed almost 100 shots of the video, and I picked some of the clips that can express my thought clearly. Every clip is filmed on campus, and some of the clips are filmed during the class.

TikTok video canvas size is 9:16, so I set it to the same as size.

I placed some transitions between the clips to make the video look more smooth and not too awkward when watching.

I gathered all the photos that I and my friends took during class or hanging out. I would like to insert more pictures but I don't have more group photos with uni friends.
