Motion Graphic

In week 2, we learned to make text animation with AE. We practice with the song 'P!nk-Rock Star'.

Animation Chart

I was assigned to category B, to make a pie chart according below data. I follow the Youtube link in the additional materials slides and learn some new skill about operating AE.

Vector / Character Animation

Vector animation:

Steps: Separate the layer in AI before start to animate - Start animate the position and opacity in AE - Bounce effect: Add a keyframe in front of your final position, and adjust the position to make it move forward or adjust the scale to make it larger - turn on motion blur

Character animation:

Use Wiggle or Puppet Position Pin Tool.

Wiggle: Separate the layer that wants to wiggle before start in AE - parent the layer that wants to wiggle with it main object - move anchor point - rotate

Puppet Position Pin Tool: Select Puppet Position Pin Tool (ctrl+P) - create pin on selected layer - tap "u" - drag the selected pin

Project 2-Task

I was assigned to category B, to make a CNY theme poster.

Must Apply:

• Animation: Position, scale, rotation (Bounce Effect),
• Layer:Motion Blur,
• Keyframe: Easy Ease, 4.Choose one only: Wiggle OR Puppet position pin tool

Kinetic Typography

This is a project works in group. Select a song and make a kinetic typography.

The group members suggested some songs and we vote. Harry Style's "As It Was" will be the song we finally decide.

We chose Singly Linked Font as the main font and Motley Forces Font to be the secondary.

6. Storyboard

I first sketch my idea on a paper. 

Nothin to say: I would like to try on 3 different expression (erase, dissolve and disappear) to pick one of the most suitable

When everything gets in the way: Word come out one by one from different directions and zoom in and out

Seems you cannot be replaced: Typing effect or Cinema ending effect (word scrolling)

and I'm the one who will stay: I would like to make smtg I do in "P!nk-rock star" practice. Arrange the word in different directions and zoom and move
